 "Since 1997, I have been fulfilling my dream of taking care of children as a pediatrician in the Sacramento area. My philosophy is to work with parents and caregivers as a team to raise children in a healthy, safe, and caring environment. I also love to teach (got it from my mom who was a school teacher) which helps me in providing families practice advice they can relate to."

Dr. Maulino completed premedical undergraduate studies at the University of California Davis (1984), graduated Cum Laude from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine & Surgery (1990) and trained at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City in General Pediatrics (1996). She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and currently on the active senior medical staff at Methodist Hospital, Mercy General Hospital, and Sutter Memorial Hospital; in Sacramento. She is the Medical Director of Sacramento Valley Pediatric since 2004.

 

"Having grown up with a doctor in the family has certainly made a big impact on my life. My aunt who often took care of me inspired me to follow in her footsteps and dedicate my life towards helping patients in their journey towards healthy and happy life.

Dr. Maria Tan completed her medical degree at Far Eastern University in the Philippines. She then trained for her pediatric residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center/ New York Medical College in Manhattan. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

"The tenderness of children has always touched my heart and my care grew even more when I gave birth to my daughter in 2011. It is my silent promise to give my all in ensuring that the little ones are properly treated and cared for in my field of specialization. No child deserves to be in pain and no one should stay sick. I want them to achieve their best potential. My role is to be an advocate for them. We at Sacramento Valley Pediatrics make sure that we properly attend to our patients and extend the best care to make each one feel at home while being treated."

"Preventative health is a vital component of pediatrics. Encompassing regular doctor visits and immunizations as well as education about healthy living. As a pediatrician I will strive to lead by example and promote an active and healthy lifestyle with the goal of avoiding preventable diseases in our youth."

 Dr. Navea attended medical school at California Northstate University, College of Medicine. His hobbies are cycling, strength training, running, fishing, grilling, working on cars, riding motorcycles/dirt bikes.
 
His previous research includes Frenectomy research and it’s effects on newborn weight gain.

Mrs. Navea graduated from the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, FNP/PA Program in 1992. She spent over ten years of progressive clinical experience in General Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Philippines and in Saudi Arabia, prior to settling in the United States in 1988.
 

Dora Rodriguez completed the Physician Assistant Program at UC Davis in 2001.
